Kenya health sector reforms should see parallel importing of drugs and local manufacturing
Under proposals in the Kenyan government's Ministry of Health 2008-2012 draft reform, it is planned that the MoH's role is taken over by the proposed Health Service Commission, the main challenges of which will be to ensure the 40.0 billion-shilling ($634.4 million) budget for the sector yields affordable heath care for all.
