Laboratorios Almirall closes Hermal acquisition
Spanish pharmaceutical firm Laboratorios Almirall SA has closed the process of acquisition of Hermal, the Germany-based dermatology business of UK conglomerate Reckitt Benckiser, after receiving clearance from the German regulatory authorities. The purchase, which was first announced in July and is subject to customary conditions (Marketletter July 23), is worth L255.0 million ($516.2 million).
