Leading drugmaker signs up with eResearch Technology

eResearch Technology, a provider of centralized electrocardiographiccollection and interpretation services, has announced that it has received agreements totaling more than $1 million in cardiac safety monitoring and services from a leading pharmaceutical organization for two of its drug candidates in clinical trials.

The agreements cover two studies for which eRT is providing comprehensive support including the provision, training and ongoing assistance required for effective use of more than 100 digital equipment units for collection of cardiac safety data that is subsequently provided to eRT for analysis. eRT will perform digital collection, measurement, interpretation, review and distribution of cardiac safety data through its EXPeRT workflow enabled data handling technology, the first solution in production that was designed explicitly to meet emerging international regulatory guidance and technical standards.
