- Spain's Ministry of Health has ordered recall of 23 lots of Rhone-Poulenc Rorer's Levothroid (levothyroxine) following pressure from the Spanish State Confederation of Consumers and Users, which is instigating an investigation and studies into the product's safety. The verdict on the product will not be available until the summer, according to Spanish financial daily Cinco Dias.
