Lilly announces major leadership restructuring

US drug major Eli Lilly has announced several leadership structure changes in various subsidiaries. Lilly Research Laboratories has appointed Jen Strotka as vice president of global regulatory affairs, and Don Therasse as vice president of global patient safety. In International Operations, the following have been promoted: Karim Bitar, former general manager of Lilly Italy, has been named president of European Operations; and Philippe Prufer, Eberhard Ludewigs and Newt Crenshaw have all been made vice presidents. At Lilly US Operations, Enrique Conterno and Jack Bailey will both become vice presidents.
