Lorus Therapeutics says it has seen "dramatic" results, includingcomplete remissions, with its anticancer agent GTI 2040 in combination with 5-fluorouracil or vinblastine in animal models of kidney and colon cancer, as well as melanoma. The company has filed an Investigational New Drug application to begin US clinical trials of GTI 2040, an antisense drug.
