Lundbeck launches Circadin in eastern Europe
Danish drugmaker H Lundbeck's Circadin (sustained-release melatonin), for the treatment of primary insomnia, has been rolled-out in Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
The drug is indicated for patients aged 55 years and over who are suffering from sleeplessness. It is designed to provide gradual melatonin release throughout the night and is not associated with dependency or poor next-day functioning, according to the firm.
