In a recent study, a single one-tablespoon serving of US nutritional firm Mannatech's Ambrotose complex significantly improved visual discrimination and working memory.
Researchers from Howard University in Washington DC, conducted a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study investigating the impact of Mannatech's patented blend of plant saccharides on the brain function of 62 healthy young adults. According to lead researcher Atiya Stancil, the results are impressive because they show significant improvement in the perceptual capabilities of healthy adults, which indicates that Ambrotose complex can benefit everyone.
Texas-based Mannatech noted that previous double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trials have demonstrated that ingestion of Ambrotose complex can enhance brain waves associated with attention or alertness, enhance concentration and improve mental reaction time, as well as improve memory.
