Maxim Pharmaceutical Files IND For Maxamine
- Maxim Pharmaceuticals has filed an Investigational New Drugapplication with the US Food and Drug Administration to commence Phase III clinical trials with its flagship compound Maxamine, for the treatment of malignant melanoma. It plans to begin enrollment of at least 125 patients with advanced-stage malignant melanoma during second-quarter 1997, with the trial expected to last 12 months.
