US injection systems specialist firm Medrad, which is an affiliate of Germany's Bayer AG, is to buy Minneapolis-headquartered Possis Medical for $361.0 million. The deal, which has been approved by both firms' boards, is expected to close this quarter and represents a 36% premium on Possis' closing price on February 8.
