New data presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology annual meeting show that US drug major Merck & Co's Emend (aprepitant) plus a standard anti-emetic regimen is 76.2% effective in preventing chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting in cancer patients on a range of moderately-emetogenic chemotherapy (p<0.01).
