Merck KGaA: Campral approvals
- Merck KGaA has received two further approvals, in Germany and the UK, for Campral (acamprosate), a new adjuvant pharmacological support in the therapeutic approach to chronic alcoholism. The product has also been granted licences in Switzerland and the Netherlands. Registration is also being sought in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium and Ireland, according to the company.
