Merz + Co and Forest link up for memantine
Merz & Co and Forest Laboratories have struck a deal for thefurther development of Merz' memantine, which is being investigated in a range of indications including Alzheimer's disease and neuropathic pain. Neurobiological Technologies, which is also collaborating with Merz on memantine, says that the Forest deal will bring at least $7.7 million to NTI, based on a previously-agreed sharing of payments with Merz.
