- The federal Health Department in Canada has revealed that Domilens Canada has agreed to recall shipments of MicroVisc Plus distributed in Canada since October. The product is thought to have caused eye infections in 14 patients at Montreal's Jewish General Hospital. Hospitals in the country have been told to stop using the gel, made in Sweden, which is used to protect tissue during eye surgery.
