Mochida seeks OTC switch for Epadel
Japan's mid-size drugmaker Mochida Pharmaceutical plans to switch one of its mainstay products, Epadel (ethyl icosapentate or EPA) for the treatment of hyperlipidemia, to over-the-counter status, Naoyuki Mochida, president of the company, revealed at a recent press conference in Tokyo.
