NCPA slams Wal-Mart mail-order program

A new Wal-Mart mail-order prescription drug pilot program raises questions about patient safety and the high cost of treating adverse  drug events. In response to the Michigan-based program, Bruce Roberts,  National Community Pharmacists Association executive vice president and  chief executive, said: "independent community pharmacists are on the  front lines of America's health care system and we see in living color  how families struggle to pay for essential medicines.
