Neose Technologies Begins Phase II With NE-0080
- Neose Technologies has commenced a Phase II trial of NE-0080, an oralcarbohydrate drug for the prevention and treatment of Helicobacter pylori infections. The Phase II study will evaluate the safety, tolerance and pharmacokinetics of 1g, 2g or 5g of NE-0080, four times daily for up to 56 days, in asymptomatic H pylori-positive male volunteers.
