Neurogen Corp Begins Ph Ib With Antiobesity Drug
- Neurogen Corp has begun Phase Ib clinical trials with its oralantiobesity drug NGD 95-1, a neuropeptide Y receptor antagonist, which it is codeveloping with Pfizer. The multiple-dose studies will investigate the safety and the pharmacokinetics of the drug over a period of 14 days in overweight but healthy male and female volunteers.
