New director general for France's LEEM

The French drug industry association, LEEM, has appointed Philippe Lamoureux to replace Bernard Lemoine as director general, effective November 15. Mr Lamoureux leaves the National Institute for Prevention and Health Education (INPES) where he holds the same job title.

The LEEM's president, Christian Lajoux, said that the choice of new director general reflects Mr Lamoureux' background in public health policy and fits with the changing priorities of the pharmaceutical sector.
