Hyderabad, India-headquartered Ocimum Biosolutions, a provider of laboratory information management system and bioinformatics solutions, says that the National Institute for Cellular Biotechnology, at Ireland's Dublin City University, has acquired its Biotracker LIMS solution to provide centralized, secure, privilege-driven access to researchers working in its gene expression and proteomics groups.

Biotracker can also provide connectivity to existing databases at DCU, in a secure archival format with scope for future data-mining, says Ocimum.
