NicOx in deal for commercial production of naproxcinod

France's NicOx has signed an agreement with fine chemical company Archimica for the commercial manufacturing and supply of naproxcinod, which is NicOx' lead investigational product and the first compound in the COX-Inhibiting Nitric Oxide-Donating class of anti-inflammatory agents, to be used in the treatment of chronic pain. Filing of a New Drug Application for the drug in the USA is projected for mid-2009.
