Nihon Schering and Mitsui form joint board

Nihon Schering and Mitsui Pharmaceuticals are to form a joint boardof directors as part of their merger process (Marketletter January 17). According to Pharma Japan, Joerg Graumann, president and representative director Nihon Schering, has been appointed chairman and representative director of Mitsui Pharmaceutical. In addition, five directors from Nihon Schering and five from Mitsui have been made concurrent directors across both companies.
