Norvir Filed In Japan

- Dainabot has filed a license application in Japan to market Norvir (ritonavir), an HIV protease inhibitor, for the treatment of patients with HIV infection. The drug was originally developed by Abbott Laboratories of the USA and was approved by the US Food and Drug Administration on March 1 of this year. Dainabot is a joint-venture between Abbott and Japanese firm Dainippon.
