Novartis Institute For Functional Genomics Formed
Novartis Research Foundation has formed the Novartis Institute forFunctional Genomics which will house around 20 laboratories to focus on functional genomics, combinatorial chemistry, proteomics and high-throughput screening etc. The Institute, which will be built next to The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California, will receive total funding of $250 million over 10 years.
