Novo Nordisk discontinues Ph III NovoSeven trial
Danish insulin giant Novo Nordisk has discontinued a Phase III trial with recombinant coagulation factor NovoSeven for the treatment of bleeding in patients with severe trauma, after an analysis for futility conducted by the independent Data Monitoring Committee predicted a low likelihood of obtaining a positive trial outcome.
