OPKO acquires Vidius Ocular for Aquashunt
Miami, USA-based OPKO Health has acquired Vidius Ocular, a privately held company that is developing an implantable physiologic device for the treatment of glaucoma, called Aquashunt, currently in preclinical stages. Clinical trials are scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2008.
