- Organon Teknika and Hoffmann-La Roche have agreed to terminate alllitigation relating to nucleic acid amplification technology, which was pending in various countries in Europe and the USA. At issue was whether Organon's development of diagnostics using an RNA-based gene amplification system infringed Roche's basic polymerase chain reaction patents.
