Part D approval at 92%

92% of US seniors enrolled in the Medicare Part D prescription drug benefit are satisfied with their coverage, according to a national telephone survey by advocacy group RetireSafe. The findings are consistent with previous studies since the program's 2006 launch (Marketletters passim).

Other findings from the RetireSafe study include: 90% of respondents thought their individual plan covered a wide enough range of drugs; 85% found costs manageable; and 81% were likely not to change their provider in 2009. The annual Part D enrollment period started on November 15.
