Patients survive 5-FU overdose with Wellstat's vistonuridine
Wellstat Therapeutics' vistonuridine was successfully used to treat patients who had been accidentally overdosed with 5-fluorouracil and whose physicians had requested the drug for emergency use, according to data that will be reported at the 2009 meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
