The US Food and Drug Administration has approved Pfizer's twice-daily5mg tablet antihistamine and decongestant combination, Zyrtec-D 12 Hour (cetirizine/pseudoephedrine) for the treatment of a broad range of allergies and nasal congestion, making it the only medicine approved for that indication. The product was originated by Belgium-based UCB and is licensed by Pfizer in the USA and Canada.
