
British pharma major AstraZeneca (LSE: AZN) is expanding its oncology-focused artificial intelligence collaboration with US biotech Immunai in a deal that could bring the smaller company up to $37.5 million over 2026-2027.
The agreement extends a multi-year partnership centered on Immunai’s AMICA-OS platform, which combines immune-system data with AI models designed to support cancer drug development. AstraZeneca will continue using the system across oncology programs to help identify biomarkers, refine patient selection, analyze mechanisms of action and optimize dosing strategies.
