
US biotech Azitra (NYSE American: AZTR) has secured financing of up to $31.4 million, combining an initial $10.5 million raise with a further $20.9 million tied to warrant exercises. The deal is expected to close imminently, pending standard conditions.
The Connecticut-based firm said the funds will support research and general operations, while also accelerating a push into cosmetic dermatology. Investors include Stonepine Capital and Nantahala Capital, alongside other institutional backers and company insiders, including chief executive Francisco Salva.
