Boehringer obesity drug shows fat loss gains but tolerability clouds ADA readout
Boehringer Ingelheim has given a fuller look at Phase III data for survodutide, showing reductions in body weight, visceral fat and liver fat, but with gastrointestinal tolerability still likely to draw close scrutiny.
Results from the 76-week SYNCHRONIZE-1 study were presented at the American Diabetes Association’s 2026 Scientific Sessions and published in The New England Journal of Medicine.
