
US biotech BridgeBio (Nasdaq: BBIO) reported positive interim Phase III data for BBP-418 in limb-girdle muscular dystrophy, showing improvements across several functional measures and a safety profile comparable with placebo.
Results from the FORTIFY trial were presented at the Muscular Dystrophy Association Clinical and Scientific Conference. The company said the oral therapy demonstrated broad efficacy across prespecified patient subgroups, including genotype, age and baseline lung function.
