US pharma major Bristol Myers Squibb (NYSE: BMY) has raised its full-year outlook after second-quarter 2026 revenue and earnings came in well above analyst expectations, helped by strong demand for Eliquis (apixaban) and continued growth from newer medicines.
Revenue rose 6%, or 5% excluding currency movements, to $12.97 billion, compared with analyst expectations of around $11.74 billion. Net income more than doubled to $3.32 billion from $1.31 billion a year earlier, while GAAP earnings per share (EPS) increased to $1.62 from $0.64. Adjusted EPS rose 40% to $2.04, ahead of the consensus forecast of about $1.60.
