
Can-Fite BioPharma (TASE: CANF) plans to advance namodenoson into a Phase IIb study in combination with chemo after the oral drug met the primary safety endpoint and demonstrated durable survival outcomes in a Phase IIa trial in advanced pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
The Israeli clinical-stage biotech said the open-label study enrolled 20 patients whose disease had progressed after standard therapies. Fourteen received namodenoson as third-line treatment, five as second-line therapy and one as fourth-line treatment.
