
For the first time, Swedish pharma trade group Lif launched its own program track at Vitalis. Together with the Swedish Medical Products Agency, SweTrial and Swedish Medtech, the focus was on how Sweden can strengthen its position as an attractive clinical trial country.
The discussions showed that Sweden has strong conditions in clinical trials, but also that competition for companies' trials is increasing in a more uncertain geopolitical situation. To attract more trials, an effective whole is required, from research and regulations to implementation in healthcare, so that innovations can reach patients more quickly.
