French genetic medicines company Cyllene Therapeutics has raised 33 million euros ($38 million) in series C financing to support development of its lead neuro-urology candidate EG110A, as the company rebrands from EG 427 and moves closer to late-stage clinical testing.
The round was led by new investors GordonMD Global Investments and M Ventures, with participation from existing backers Andera Partners, Bpifrance Investissement and Lamond Ventures. The fresh funding follows a 27 million euro ($31 million) series B last year, underlining investor interest in Cyllene’s targeted DNA medicine approach.
