
US biopharma company Definium Therapeutics (Nasdaq: DFTX) has reported positive topline results from the first of two pivotal Phase III studies of DT120 orally disintegrating tablet (ODT) in major depressive disorder (MDD), sending its shares 52% higher Monday.
The randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled EMERGE trial evaluated a single 100 microgram dose of DT120 ODT (lysergide) against placebo in 149 adults with MDD.
