Diabetes data bolster CagriSema ahead of obesity decision

Danish pharma Novo Nordisk (NOV: N) has reported positive Phase III diabetes data for CagriSema, giving the once-weekly GLP-1/amylin combination another platform as it awaits a US regulatory decision in obesity.

The company said the REIMAGINE 1-3 studies all met their primary endpoints, showing significant reductions in blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes. The trials also met confirmatory secondary endpoints for bodyweight reduction.
