Endo expands with $190 million acquisition

Ireland-incorporated Endo International (Nasdaq: ENDP) has reached definitive agreements to acquire USA-based specialty pharma company Somerset Therapeutics.

Somerset develops and markets sterile injectable and ophthalmic drugs for the US marketplace, and Endo is also acquiring its India-based affiliate Wintac, which operates as Somerset's contract developer and manufacturer.
