Fitch Ratings has affirmed the ratings of generic drugs major Actavis (NYSE: ACT) and subsidiaries at “BBB-” following the announcement that it will acquire Forest Laboratories (NYSE: FRX) for around $25 billion (The Pharma Letter February 18).
The rating outlook is Stable. The rating action applies to about $6.3 billion of debt outstanding at September 30, 2013.
