From raising awareness to developing treatments, Alexion is fighting HPP battle on many fronts

So far as Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease is concerned, supporting patients with the rare inherited disorder hypophosphatasia (HPP) has meant more than researching and developing effective treatments.

Anna Petryk, Executive Global Medical Director who leads the global medical affairs team in the Rare Bone and Endocrine Disorders therapeutic area at Alexion, told The Pharma Letter that the greatest challenge in HPP is raising awareness  around the disease itself.
