Northern Ireland based Galen has announced a new licensing partnership with Istituto Gentili, under which Galen’s subsidiary, POA Pharma Scandinavia, will become the sole distributor of Ozalin (2mg/ml oral midazolam solution) across the Nordic region, including Denmark, Finland and Norway.
Under the terms of the agreement, POA Pharma Scandinavia will license and commercialize Ozalin, a pediatric sedation product indicated in infants, children and adolescents, for moderate sedation before a therapeutic or diagnostic procedure to relieve anxiety, distress and agitation related to the procedure or as premedication before anaesthesia. The partnership reinforces Galen’s commitment to improving patient access to essential medicines while delivering high quality service and support to healthcare professionals across the region.
