Gedeon Richter posts strong year-end with adjusted EBIT exceeding expectations
Hungary’s largest drugmaker Gedeon Richter (RICHT: HB) today published financial results for 2025, showing that pharmaceutical revenues increased by 12.5% year-on-year to 245.2 billion forint ($771) in the fourth quarter, bringing total 2025 revenue to 914 billion forint (+8.2% year-on-year). At constant exchange rates (CER), revenue growth was 8.3%.
CNS (neuropsychiatric) revenue grew 9% year-on-year in 2025, supported by stable prescription volumes for Vraylar (cariprazine) (AbbVie net sales increased 11% to $3.6 billion in 2025), despite a weakening dollar. Reagila (cariprazine) sales grew 7% year-on-year as Richter’s own network continued to grow at double-digit rates.
