HHS going big in drive to defeat opioid crisis

The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is spending big in a sign of how seriously it is taking the opioid epidemic.

Calling the issue a ‘crisis ravaging our country,’ the HHS has announced that it has this week awarded more than $1 billion in opioid-specific grants.
