Highlights from Digestive Disease Week

The 2011 Digestive Disease Week meeting in Chicago, USA, heard a number of interesting presentations from drug majors, and included news on Remicade (infliximab), lubiprostone, Stelara (ustekinumab), Resolor (prucalopride) and Dificid (fidaxomicin).

US health care giant Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ) reported new data form a Phase III study (n=60) of Remicade (infliximab) in pediatric patients with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis showing a safety profile consistent with previous clinical trials in adult population.
