
Japanese pharma Takeda (TYO: 4502) has formally appointed Julie Kim as president and chief executive, completing an 18-month leadership transition at the country’s largest drugmaker.
The appointment makes Ms Kim the successor to Mr Weber after 11 years leading Takeda, a period in which the company expanded its global footprint and became more closely identified with large-scale international dealmaking.
