
US cancer focused pharma Karyopharm Therapeutics (Nasdaq: KPTI) shares plunged 68.47% to $7.01 in Thursday’s after-hours trading, after the company reported results from its Phase III trial which failed meet its primary goal.
The company announced top-line results from its Phase III XPORT-EC-042 trial evaluating selinexor as a maintenance-only therapy compared to placebo in adult patients with TP53 wild-type advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer.
