Leading Russian drugmakers considering expanding into the African region

Leading Russian drugmakers are considering accelerating their expansion into the African region this year that will take place through the supplies of their drugs to the continent and building of their production facilities there, reports The Pharma Letter’s local correspondent.

For example, Russian biopharmaceutical company Petrovax Pharm has received registration approval for its original drug polyoxidonium in Botswana. As part of the company’s plans this is just the beginning, as it will plans the expansion further into South Africa.
